Hear from members about their experience with the Momentum GTM leadership development program.

Steve Goldberg, CRO Salesloft

Momentum’s executive leadership training allowed me to design an operational strategy that’s truly focused on solving our customers’ problems. It helped me take the final steps from manager to true CRO leader of a thriving revenue organization. I’m a far more confident and impactful leader of change as a result of Mo’s individual coaching, collaboration with a dynamic group of peers and access to shared resources and playbooks. And because of this work, I feel more aligned strategically with our CEO, Revenue and Executive leadership teams and Board. Participating in the Momentum GTM leadership program has been truly transformative for myself personally and my business.

Jennifer Brannigan, CRO at Pendo.io

It’s lonely at the top, and also very difficult to create the space to do the deeper work of thinking through and solving business problems. Momentum has created the space for me to talk through my business and personal challenges of navigating a demanding, high-profile job. The relationships I’ve built with Mo and my peer group have been key to my growth, morale and confidence; there are shared challenges that no one else is dealing with but other CROs in similar high-growth organizations. One of the more critical moments with my group was how to best move up-market with many complexities at play. The feedback I received informed strategic changes we made to the business and ultimately led to our enterprise ARR doubling at Pendo.

Neal Patel, CRO Crunchbase

As a CRO, we are constantly trying to distinguish between truth and confirmation bias. Our networks can be full of smart people, but more often than not, they tell us a we want to hear. And, unless your CEO has a go-to-market background, they are looking to you for all the answers. The Momentum program gives you a truly dispassionate, unbiased assessment from people doing almost exactly what you are doing.  You can turn off what we do best (sell) and dig in with each other to share and learn with the businesses’ best interests in mind. You get a real-time market check on KPIs that you can’t get anywhere else, and that ensures you aren’t wasting your time on unrealistic things. The calibration from the CROs in my Momentum group and Mo has been critical to keeping me focused on what’s important, especially as the economy has softened.

Nikki Perry

Nikki Perry, CRO CrunchTime!

Momentum was instrumental in helping me test and better construct a post-merger organizational design. In 2022, CrunchTime! acquired our company, Zenput, which resulted in a $100M+ company overnight. Our go-to-market motion required an immediate and intense overhaul. The new strategy was more complex - more products, a wider range of scale, and greater complexity in the sales cycle. I presented a draft of my solution to my Momentum GTM peers in a quarterly group meeting.  Not only did it help me consolidate my thoughts as I developed a draft for the meeting, but as I presented it to the CROs in my group, they pushed me to avoid some of the pitfalls I hadn’t considered. The collective intelligence and experience in the room saved Zenput and my team significant resources and time. Without Momentum, it easily would have taken me 3-6 months (and failure) to see what the one-hour session with my peers uncovered.

Kevin Kiley, CRO OneTrust

As CRO’s we spend all our time working in the business; it’s easy to get too close to the details. Being thoughtful and precise is critical in our role, but I don’t want to lose sight of the bigger picture and why I’m making the decisions I am. The Momentum GTM program gives me invaluable outside perspective from an exceptional group of peers in other organizations. We support and learn from one another and I leave our meetings with fresh ideas and insights on what is and is not working in their companies. From bigger policy decisions, difficult talent-related choices, to more nuanced benchmarking across the organization, (comp plans, account loads, account coverage and spend) my CRO peers have supported me as I work through decisions at OneTrust and I never feel alone as I go to implement.

Expect real results when you join the Momentum GTM program. While under Mo’s coaching and with the support of my peer group, my business has doubled its ARR. Mo has given me the foundation to strategically build and lead a sales organization. She’s shared a tactical toolkit that has helped me navigate complex internal and external situations. The peer group that Mo has assembled has elevated me and helped me grow as a leader.

Matt Schurk, CRO Auctane

Being a contemporary CRO means being the “Chief Change Officer” for your organization as well. Momentum has helped me build new change management muscles, and I can now navigate large-scale change more quickly. When I joined the program, Tophat was in the throes of change, and the stakes were high; I knew we needed to make the right decisions and do so quickly or risk losing a lot of people. The Momentum GTM Program provided a sounding board for me as I worked through these organizational changes and considered the cascading impacts. The additional eyes and suggestions from their unbiased vantage helped me cut our employee attrition in half and move our eNPS from -20 to the +45 we have today.
